OG Kush as Nina Ricci
OG Kush was first cultivated in Florida, in the early ‘90s when a strain from Northern California was crossed with a Hindu Kush plant from Amsterdam. The result was a hybrid with a unique terpene profile that boasts a complex aroma with notes of fuel, skunk, and spice. The combination of mental stimulation and improvement in mood makes this a uniquely social strain, good for parties and lively conversations.

The genetic backbone of West Coast cannabis varieties, OG Kush arrived in Los Angeles in 1996 when Matt “Bubba” Berger brought it (along with “The Bubba,” which was later used to create the famed Bubba Kush) from Florida to legendary cultivator Josh D. (Leafly)
Rushemy Botter and Lisi Herrebrugh have finished a full collection cycle at Nina Ricci with their Pre Fall 2020 show. They’ve taken the classic staples that scream “Nina Ricci” and have given them a subtle twist, to produce new tailored looks that are easy and pleasurable to wear. The collection draws easy similarities to OG Kush, a legendary strain with a name that has recognition even outside of the cannabis world. The strain has become a staple used to create several famous strains like GSC and Headband.
